Vice President of Financial Technology (FiT), Tencent

 

Mr. Daniel Hong joined Tencent in 2016 and now serves as Vice President of Financial Technology (FiT).

Currently, Mr. Hong is in charge of business analysis function within FiT Business Line, responsible for business planning and strategic collaboration between Tencent FiT and external institutions & invested companies in financial service sector. He is also driving digital insurance product innovation on internet platform. Before joining Tencent, Mr. Hong worked with Bain & Company, one of the top 3 global strategy firms, and served leading MNC and local companies in both financial service and consumer product sectors. Before that, he worked with Accenture, participating and co-leading the giant project of Shanghai Stock Exchange New Generation Trading System (NGTS) design and implementation.

Mr. Hong has more than 12 years of management and innovation experience in strategy development, merge & acquisition, consumer loyalty & behavior analysis, performance improvement, BPR and organization restructuring, etc. Mr. Hong graduated from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, with MBA degree.
