Vice Chairman, National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference

Chairman, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce

Mr. Gao Yunlong is the Vice-Chairman of the 13th CPPCC National Committee and Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Mr. Gao was elected as the Vice Chairman of the 13th CPPCC National Committee in March, 2018 and Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in November, 2017.

From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Gao served as the Vice Chairman and General Manager (CEO) of China Everbright Group which he joined in 2013 as Executive Director and Deputy General Manager for less than a year.

From 2007 to 2013, he served as Deputy Governor of Qinhai Province China and Chairman of Qinhai Provincial Committee of China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA).

From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Gao served as Deputy Mayor of Baise City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and at the same time, successively served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of Guangxi Provincial Committee of CNDCA.

From 1994 to 2003, he served in National Development Bank successively as senior engineer and deputy division chief for credit review of chemical projects, deputy division chief for credit review in the agriculture and forestry project review department, division chief in the market and industry analysis department, and division chief for development projects in the credit management department. Meantime, Mr. Gao took a temporary post as Deputy Mayor of Baise City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from 2002 to 2003.

From 2008 to 2018, Mr. Gao was a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Mr. Gao graduated from East China Chemical Engineering College (now as part of East China Science and Technology University) with a bachelor’s degree in 1982 and a MA degree in 1985. He graduated from Tsinghua University with a PhD. Degree of chemical engineering in 1989.
