Mr. Eugene Hsia

Chief Corporate Development Officer, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation

 

Mr. Eugene Hsia leads HKSTP's Technology Clusters, Platforms, Incubation, Strategic Partnerships, Investment and Leasing & Operation Services. Working closely with the executive team, Mr. Hsia is at the forefront of executing our strategy of building a vibrant ecosystem at the Science Park. He and his teams are also responsible for bringing reputable companies and technologies to Hong Kong, and creating value for all partner companies through close collaboration and partnerships.

Mr. Hsia obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Boston College in the U.S. He has a strong understanding of the innovation & technology ecosystem, bringing solid and proven experiences in both strategic and operational aspects of building a business. He has over 24 years of deep technology knowledge, specializing in technical infrastructure, software applications, and services consulting. He had managed and grown global teams for various Silicon Valley companies, such as Hewlett Packard, IBM and Agilent Technologies. Mr. Hsia also co-founded two successful start-ups in the U.S. & Singapore respectively, bringing with him the entrepreneur spirit and startup experience to the HKSTP family.

He serves as I&T Advisory Committee of E&M InnoPortal by ESMD; CEFAR Academy Advisory Committee by CUHK; Steering Committee of CUHK Corporate Innovation Index Project; and Hong Kong Convention Ambassador by Hong Kong Tourism Board.
