PRC Leader & Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific, AECOM

Ian Chung is the PRC Leader and Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific at AECOM, and he also leads AECOM’s Greater China Civil & Infrastructure business which has over 3,500 professional and technical staff.

He is a chartered civil engineer with over 25 years in providing management and technical expertise to multi-disciplinary, large scale transportation, civil and infrastructure projects. Recent significant works in which he has served as project director include: the Hong Kong International Airport Three Runway Systems Projects and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

In addition to his heavy involvement in Hong Kong and PRC, Mr. Chung also has an extensive overseas exposure in managing and providing technical advice around the world. Mr. Chung is passionate in driving the consultant engineer profession. He is the immediate past Chairman of The Association of Consulting Engineers of Hong Kong (ACEHK), and now serves as Chairman of the Civil Division of The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE) and Vice President of Hong Kong Institution of Highways and Transportation (HKIHT).
